NavigationArts is looking for a Senior Vignette Consultant to help lead a major implementation effort for a landmark client in the Washington D.C. area.
The Senior Vignette Consultant should have the following qualifications:
• 5+ years experience implementing and architecting Vignette Content Management systems
• Have extensive hands-on Version 7 experience
• Worked as a team lead, architecting and overseeing others during implementation
• Able to identify and plan around architectural roadblocks with 3rd party integrations
• Be able to give guidance on content data modeling inside of VCM
• Understand and effectively guide partners on XHTML template creation best practices
• Understand and guide partners on functional feasibility during discovery and site architecture phases
• Be able to provide detailed documentation and use policies for Vignette CM
• Be able to train, mentor, and guide other developers so that they may be able to maintain system after implementation
• 3-5 years of Oracle/SQL Server interaction and TSQL expertise
• BS/BA degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience
• 3-5 years experience working with mid to large size websites (1000+ pages/documents) preferred
This is a contract position (6 months guaranteed, very likely to be longer).
