Job Description:

As a Tool & Cutter Grinder you will manufacture and maintain standard and special cutting tools required to meet production demands utilizing computer driven grinding equipment, manual grinding equipment, precise inspection equipment and the latest available technical Methodologies. Provides technical cutting tools assistance to all Manufacturing Teams and Vendors. Proficient in computer operations to include data collection or communication skills as required. Assist with on-the-job-training when required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Evaluates Customer needs by listening, responding with empathy and taking the request to evaluate what actions are required. Determines and performs necessary documentation and other activities to supply the customer needs.

Performs setup of all manual and CNC grinding tasks in accordance with standard tool and cutter grinding procedures.
Performs assembly of grinding wheel packs for manual and computer controlled equipment required to produce the specific cutting tool.
