Denver Company which is listed on the London Stock Exchange. The divisions business is diverse providing systems used in medical, entertainment and engineering applications in over 50 countries. Customers include Electronic Arts, Sony Picture Imageworks and leading medical institutions. Following continued expansion and reorganization the US division is seeking the appointment a Financial Controller based in Denver CO.

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the [Senior VP of US Operations?] [and UK Finance Director] the candidate will be responsible for all US financial reporting and control, including:

• Monthly management reporting to the US management teams
• Reporting to UK parent
• Budgets and forecasts
• Development of systems and procedures to maintain integrity and accuracy of reported information
• Taxation – compliance, filing and planning opportunities
• Review of legal contracts and sales terms and conditions
• Support for commercial activities and contract accounting

 Qualifications:

Useful skills / attributes:

• Experience of accounting for multi-site operations
• Experience with legal contacts and negotiating sales terms and condition
• Experience of sales and income tax filings
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong technical accounting skills
• Competent with Excel
• Experience of Microsoft Dynamics GP or similar accounting system
• Management of multi-site accounts team

Qualifications:

CPA with a minimum of 3 years commercial experience ideally in a hi-tech industry.
