Job Description:

Chemical Engineer (Gasification) Canton, OH (9531)

Candidate should have a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering (or other Bachelor degree) with experience/knowledge of gasification of coal (fossil fuel), biodegradable wastes, wood logs, wood chips, wood pallets, corn, grass and other biomass energy sources.

You should be familiar with furnace design, boilers, heaters, thermal heat transfer calculations, liquefaction, temperature control, air flow, oxygen (lambda) sensors (O2), fly ash, bottom ash silicon dioxide (SiO2), and calcium oxide (CaO) to design heating systems and the process that converts material containing carbon - such as coal, petroleum coke (petcoke), or biomass - into synthesis gas used in low emissions ovens.

Salary range: 40k to 75k
