Job Description:

MUST BE PROFESSIONAL DRESS AND BE PROFESSIONAL AT ALL TIMES IN DEALING WITH CLIENTS AND CO_WORKERS

 

Essential Functions:

 

1. Monitoring the number of images coming into the Accelerad

2. Rotating on call with Clinical Operations Manager; weekdays, weeknight, weekend

    and holiday’s; all on call duties are subject to change.

3. Responsible for overseeing physician report signing and approvals in a timely manner.

4. Identifies and resolves operational problems with Clinical Operations Mgr.

5. Assist and run reports

6. Coordinates with Clinical Operations Mgr., with orienting new client work flow

7. Attends required meetings and participates in or chairs committees as requested.

8. Participates in professional development activities to keep current with health care     

    trends and practices.

9. Maintains strictest patient, abides by HIPPA guidelines, and TRG Practice

    confidentiality.

 

Education: Minimum School diploma; Associate or Bachelors degree in healthcare or

                    business administration preferred.

 

Experience: Minimum of 6 months to 1yr. of medical office experience, 1yr. of medical

                     knowledge. Experience in Excel, and Microsoft office is a must.

 

Requirements: The job holder must demonstrate current competencies applicable to the

                          job role.

 

A. Knowledge of:

1. Organization policies and procedures.

2. Practice management, health care administration

3. Computer systems, programs and applications. (MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word,

    Outlook, PAC’s Imaging System and application)

4. Strong in medical knowledge

 

B. Skills in:

1. Gathering, analyzing and interpreting information quickly.

2. Excellent Written and verbal communication.

3. Intermediate skills in Excel, Outlook, and Word

 

C. Abilities to:

1. To listen, exercise initiative, problem-solving, and decision-making.

2. Apply policies and principles to solve everyday problems and deal with a variety of

    situations.

3. Work effectively with patients, staff, and hospital contracts.

4. Identify problems and recommend solutions in a timely manner.

5. Establish priorities and coordinate work activities.

6. Multitask and having strong organizational skills

 

Physical/Mental Demands:   Requires sitting and standing associated with a normal

                                                office environment. Dealing with physicians, irate clients,

                                                heavy email and phone communication

 

Environmental/Working Conditions:  Normal office environment; some

                                                                 weekend work. Mon-Fri 11p-8a, Rotating

                                                                 on call on weekends and holidays.
