Job Description:

Geotechnical Engineer - Civil Engineer PE
Location: San Jose,CA
Salary: $85,000- $110,000

Sequence is currently seeking a Senior Level Geotechnical Engineer to provide project management leadership and senior technical guidance for a range of Civil / Geotechnical Engineering projects throughout Northern California.

Candidates should have at least 7+ years recent experience in geotechnical engineering, offering the abilities to lead and provide senior technical guidance on complex geotechnical engineering projects throughout California. Must have the abilities to provide the engineering expertise in stability, retaining wall, slope analysis, foundation / pile design, as well as, providing project management, project scoping, budgeting, client relations, and overall profit/loss responsibilities for projects.

Experience conducting business development, interacting with government regulators for Caltrans roads/bridges, capital improvement, geothermal, solar, and land projects is a plus to consideration. Additionally, candidates that can bring immediate business contacts, projects onboard will be given priority consideration.

Requires a Degree in Civil Engineering, Geology or related discipline. MS Preferred. California registration as a Geotechnical Engineer required. Working knowledge of MSOffice applications and excellent written and verbal communication abilities necessary.

Position is based in the San Francisco Bay Area; offering excellent compensation and benefits package for highly qualified and motivated Geotechnical Engineers.
