Job Description:

Entomologist - Bio Insecticide Project Manager
Location: Sacramento,CA
Salary: $75,000- $100,000

Sequence is currently seeking a Senior Entomologist / Project Manager to provide oversight to the development and product management of insecticides for the preservation of agricultural farms lands throughout the United States.

The ideal candidate would have at least 5+ years experience in providing leadership in the development and research necessary for successful bio-pesticide development and product management; with at least 3 years PHD level experience in research for molecular biology, insect genetics or quantitative molecular analysis / toxicology related to insects & plant ecology modeling.

Requires the abilities the lead project staff and develop mitigation strategies to prevent long term crop damage to lands. Must have a good understanding of laboratory practices, FDA /USEPA regulations, entomology, insect genetics, and plant-insect interactions on the molecular, cellular and physiological levels.

Position requires a Degree in Entomology, Biology or related discipline. Masters and/or PhD required, as well as, excellent communication and written communication abilities.Position is based in Sacramento, California and offers an excellent compensation and benefits package.
