Job Description:

Environmental Program Manager - Entitlements
Location: Los Angeles,CA
Salary: $85,000- $110,000

Sequence is currently seeking a Environmental Program Manager / Group Leader to head up activities for one of the California leading Environmental Community Development Practice Groups.

The ideal candidate would have at least 8+ years experience as a key seller-doer, technical project leader overseeing all organizational and operational management activities for a environmental planning group, related to community development projects; which include EIR / EIS, general / specific plan type projects from private (commercial, industrial, residential, mixed use), to public (government facility, institutional, transit and infrastructure) and a diversity of other community development undertakings.

This position represents a very key and senior Executive Management leadership position with the organization and will direct the largest division within the firm. With that in mind, this position requires proven experience with environmental planning, permitting and CEQA documentation. Essentially, requiring an individual that can direct firm wide strategic activities and actively engage in project and program management for high profile, large scale and complex environmental CEQA/NEPA documentation and undertakings.

Position requires undergraduate or advanced degrees in Planning, Environmental Science, Geography, or related disciplines. AICP and other certifications are essential. The ideal individual would have a proven track record of successful project, program and practice engagements with strategic insight and business development acumen. Exceptional project management, staff mentoring and strong written / verbal communication skills are desired.

This position can be based out of any of the organizations California branch locations, ideally Sacramento, San Francisco, Los Angeles or San Diego, California.
