Job Description:

Project Design Engineer - Process Piping Cleveland, Ohio (Job Code# 7774)

Mechanical Engineering Degree desired. Chemical Process Piping engineering design from scratch is a must!

Chemical Process Piping experience desired is for varous plastics / resins used in the manufacture of automobile/appliance components. You must be able to do complete plant layout of not only the piping but the mixing and reaction injection molding equipment involved.

10+ years experience with 2D AutoCAD design / detailing proficiency (3-D is a plus) with strong piping skills / experience to include flow sheets, P & ID (process & instrumentation diagrams), you must have past work experience and knowledge to calculate stress and load of piping systems & hangers with a strong understanding of “free body diagrams,” exposure to Inventor CAD is a plus but not required, past experience with “SAP” business activity and material management software is preferred, must have excellent verbal & written communication skills, Bachelor degree is a plus but not required.
