• Sustained a 99.5% communications success rate while deployed to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom 06-08 by quickly troubleshooting links and equipment.

• Trained 15 soldiers on the deployment, set-up, operation, maintenance and tear-down of the system while in theater.

• As Unit Prevention Leader, coordinates company urinalysis testing program maintaining 100% tested annually and providing quarterly training.

• Accountable for a $1.2 million AN/TSC-93D Ground Mobile Forces (GMF) system consisting of two High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicles, tactical satellite communications shelter, eight foot parabolic antenna and two 10K generators.

• Trained two soldiers on the procedures of operating and maintaining the equipment; performed end to end trouble shooting with the use of the Fireberd 6000 and spectrum analyzer.

• Operated and maintained three AN/GSC-52 and two AN/FSC-78 satellite systems consisting of Defense Satellite Communications Systems (DSCS), Defense Communications Satellite Subsystem (DCSS), and Standardized Tactical Entry Point services, including Integrated Tactical/Strategic Data Network, Promina 800, DFCS Satellite Network Monitoring System, and Multiplexer Integration and DCSS Automation System (MIDAS).

• Performed Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC), test procedures, troubleshooting, configuration, programming, scheduling, maintenance, repair, and training on secure and non-secure equipment, and satellite transmission systems.

• Troubleshooting end to end users’ digital data and voice circuits using test equipment such as: Fireberd 6000, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscope, multimeter, data test sets, satellite test translators, signal generators, and power meters.
