· Consulted on existing High Frequency (HF) Automatic Antenna Tuner Unit (ATU) prototype designs that suffered from design issues requiring further hardware and firmware development.
· Responsibilities included development of firmware, engineering hardware design modifications, Schematic Capture, Printed Circuit Board (PCB) design layout changes, releasing PCB Gerber files to prototype board manufacturer, testing new prototypes and writing draft user documentation.
SIGINT Database Project Manager May 2006 – May 2007
· Performed Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) data analysis, resolution and data entry into restricted database where monitoring logs received 24/7 are correlated daily from a worldwide High Frequency monitoring network on 5 continents. The SIGINT network provided comprehensive 24-hour coverage of the HF spectrum of all current and emerging HF communication standard waveforms and protocols. The resulting database product is available in a restricted edition for U.S. Government Users only, which was developed in collaboration with the National Security Agency (NSA) and the Federal Communications Commission (FCC).
Software Developer, SIGINT HF Receiver Systems June 2005 – May 2006
· Developed an extensive Communications Receiver Control Library as a single MS-Windows Dynamic Link Library (.DLL) in to provide the Centurion HF signals decoding/analysis suite of tools with fully integrated receiver control. The radio control library supports all computer controlled professional HF SSB receivers from manufacturers such as Cubic, DRS-SS (WJ), Harris Radio Corporation, Japan Radio Corporation (JRC), ICOM, Racal, Rohde & Schwarz, Ten-Tec and others. The addition of Radio Control support provides the Monteria SIGINT tool suite a complete tuning-to-decode intercept solution with features such as scan and detect tuning in support of the collection of short-duration calling, selective calling, link establishment and link management signaling systems which to intercept depends on effective receiver control and rapid channel scanning.
Pro Bono Software Development, Military Affiliate Radio System (MARS) Present
· Developer of MARS-ALE, an MS-Windows software based, MIL-STD-188-141A Automatic Link Establishment (ALE) modem/controller which utilizes the PC Sound Device as the main data modem. MARS-ALE is an MS-Visual C++ Windows MFC based multi-threaded application that leverages the Digital Signal Processing (DSP) capabilities of the PC sound device as an inexpensive data modem asset. The need for MARS-ALE is based on the MARS program being an Amateur Radio volunteer based organization, which needs to support ALE interoperability with various U.S. Government Agencies (e.g. U.S. Military, FEMA, SHARES etc.) and the fact that for most MARS members can not afford the cost of ALE hardware systems.

· Project Leader, later Project Manager for the MS-Windows based Advanced Monitor Display System (AMDS) in support of the U.S. Army Improved Remotely Monitored Battlefield Sensor Systems (I-REMBASS).
