Planned and executed national special events - the Gatorade Golf Classic and the Breathe Right 5K Fun Run, both held at Opryland in Nashville, Tennessee during annual NATA Conference in 2002. Arranged and coordinated appearances at the golf tournament by NBA players Charles Barkley and Sean Elliott, including coordination with ESPN camera crew. Handled direct mail and meeting coordination for NATA regional conferences across the United States.

As part of 3 member Management Team, worked with Executive Director on personnel policies and procedures, budgeting and operations. Responsible for annual fund raising budget. Increased annual fundraising budget 50%. Events included "UCP Night at the Stars," hosted by Stars hockey player Mike Modano; "Swing Into the Holidays" Golf Tournament hosted by NFL Hall of Famer Mel Renfro; "UCP Celebrity Golf Tournament" featuring current and former Dallas Cowboys and the development and implementation of "Walk & Roll for UCP," a pledge walk hosted by Jason Garrett (Dallas Cowboys) and Mike Modano. Established 75% new event donors. Extensive writing: releases, media alerts, PSA's, newsletters, direct mail, brochures, promotional materials. Conducted two telethons locally, in conjunction with the national UCP telethon. Conceived, wrote and produced "Challenge 2000,"a 30 minute educational program that aired on WFAA Channel 8 in 1998/1999 (no expenses). Received the 1998 national “ACE” award for best special event, “Walk & Roll for UCP;” conducted a lecture on how to establish this event at UCP’s national development conference that year. United Way spokesperson, addressing
corporations ranging in size from 10-500 and hosting corporate tours of facility. Recruited 5 board members.
