KCBS-FM, 93.1 Jack FM 2005-Present



Oversee $44 million gross annual revenue sales generated from on-air, digital and out-of-home “signature events.” Leverage strong leadership skills to effective manage a 25-person team consisting of account executives, marketing specialists, national sales manager, local sales manager, events sales manager and support staff.



- Led teams efforts in the development of KCBS FM, Jack FM as was later recognized as the most successful “JACK” station among 175 stations both national and worldwide

- Instrumental for the three years of consecutive growth in company’s revenue through skyrocketing performance that surpassed existing market competitors

- Played an integral role for the exponential growth of KCBS FM’s revenue in 2006 to more than 45% versus overall market revenues that were down by 3%, realizing broadcast cash-flow of more than 70% positioned the team in #4 throughout Los Angeles and #7 country-wide as stated by the Miller Kaplan Report.

- Consistently set record pace growth in 2007 with a 14% boost over prior year by outperforming market competitors and improving station’s country-wide rank to the #6 position for overall top-line revenue

- Devised and executed sound business plans to effectively launch and support digital sales platforms, such as ongoing sales of audio/video pre-rolls, streaming spots as well as display and banner ads

Managed overall operations and EBITDA performance of sports radio station KMPC, “The Ticket” of privately held corporation, Sporting News, which include all sales, programming, franchise acquisition, marketing and engineering. Assumed full P&L responsibility for sports properties, including USC, San Diego Chargers, LA Galaxy, NCAA Men’s Basketball/Westwood One and NASCAR.



- Piloted the station brand’s “1540 The Ticket” launching initiatives that includes sales operations, program structures, franchise acquisition, marketing and engineering plans

- Spearheaded high-quality, cross-functional teams of engineers, lawyers, contractors and FCC consultants to ensure success of the 1540 AM frequency to establish greater coverage throughout Los Angeles DMA

- Solely managed the negotiation of broadcasting contracts and agreements for USC, SD Chargers, LA Galaxy and NCAA Men’s Basketball

- Managed corporate key accounts, such as Miller Beer, Sprint / Nextel, Smart & Final, as well as Lexus and Lowes; established strategic partnership with StubHub to secure more than $750K for digital, network radio and magazine

- Instrumental for exponential growth of company by 93%, 60%, 24% and 22% from 2001 to 2005, and the successful launch of initiatives for new sports properties
