presentations.

Bottlenose Dolphin Biopsy and Photo-id study--NOAA

Beaufort, NC.

Duties: Preparing gear for surveys and participating in sighting surveys, data recording for

sightings and biopsy attempts, assisting with recovery of biopsy arrows and processing of

biopsy samples (labeling, removing samples), photo-identification of dolphins and organization

of film, daily downloading of GPS data to laptop. Access database entry, stranded animal

recovery, necropsy work (collection for histology and virology, stomach content analysis),

cleaning of dolphin teeth for age analysis.

Salary: $16USD/Hour
