I am currently a fifth-year Computer Engineering(Graduation date: May, 2006) student at Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) seeking a co-op position and am available for a 3 or 6 month co-op beginning after the academic quarter at RIT. I am strongly interested in the hardware and software related positions and am writing to inquire about potential employment opportunities at your company.
My studies at RIT have provided me with the foundation to be a productive addition to your organization. In addition to courses, I have had extensive experience in the software labs and hardware labs at RIT. I have training on circuits on breadboards and related hardware/software simulations, C, C++, Visual C++, Java Programming, Assembly and HDL programming, MySQL, TCP/IP protocols and embedded systems. My software engineering project for bowling alley simulation and my computer science project for hangman game and also my co-ops provided me the opportunity to gain experience in leading teams. I am flexible in work assignments and work effectively in both team and individual settings.
