PROJECTS

Dot Net Projects

· Harland Customer Care Manufacturing Order Fulfillment System (PL/SQL, VB.Net, Visual Basic, Microsoft SQL Server, Transact SQL, and Microsoft Data Transformation Services [DTS]). As part of Harland's initiative to integrate its manufacturing systems, direct customers, and business from a variety of trading partners, I developed a flexible backend system to retrieve data from staging tables populated by Siebel and TIBCO and to insert these data into our ORACLE database. This data was then retrieved by other systems that automated order fulfillment. This application also retrieved information about the status of these orders in their various manufacturing stages and populated a staging table with status messages that were fed back to the Siebel front end via TIBCO. This project involved several application releases coordinated with iterative development of the Siebel front end and TIBCO middleware. The most recent release was upgraded from VB to VB.Net.

· Harland Customer Care Vendor Order Fulfillment System (Microsoft SQL Server, Transact SQL, VB.Net, VB, XML). This system was developed as part of Harland's initiative to integrate its vendor systems, direct customers, and business from a variety of trading partners. I developed a flexible order automation system that automatically generated XML order files from staging tables populated by TIBCO from a Siebel front end and sent these files to the vendor. The system also received XML order acknowledgements, error acknowledgements, and ship confirmations and inserted these data into a staging table as status messages that were fed back to the Siebel front end via TIBCO.
