* Monitors work being done on space craft and associated equipment, as well as develops, modifies, applies and maintains quality standards and protocol affecting partially finished or finished product materials.
* Attends pre-task briefings and ensures all required personnel are kept abreast of assignments and responsibilities; and collaborates extensively with engineering and manufacturing departments, ensuring quality standards are in place.
* Develops and implements precision and accuracy inspection, testing and evaluation methods and procedures for products and production equipment.
* Designs and specifies inspection and testing equipment; conducts quality assurance tests; and performs statistical analyses, assessing cost of and determining responsibility for products and/or materials not to required standards and specifications.
* Ensures corrective measures meet standards and corresponding documentation is requirement compliant, and all work follows written Operation Order and approves all appropriate deviations.
* As part of the Operation Order completion process, reviews documentation, ensuring everything is completed and all signatures / test values have been recorded; inspects all repairs prior to closing the nonconformance report. 
* Performs monthly clean room area surveillances, ensuring proper working conditions, such as all equipment being currently calibrated, and properly stored / labeled hazardous materials; documents and reports findings to appropriate personnel and management.  

Achievements:
* Received 50+ hours of training on ERP, the system LM now used for documentation, and volunteers often for night-shift and weekends when QE support is needed
* Identified products not repaired to spec as well as mistakes made in several operation orders, saving time and money since nonconformance identified at a later time pushes back the shipping date.

FIELD ENGINEER 1/2003-10/2004
Lockheed Martin, Knolls Atomic Power Laboratory (KAPL) – Portsmouth, VA
* Charged with managing and performing a wide array of classified work, including: work on U.S. Navy Nuclear Submarines.
* Served as a LM Representative and consulted with prime contractors in order to provide timely technical assistance to the shipyard as well as forces afloat.
* Provided oversight to technical aspects and evolutions of naval nuclear work, ensuring work was conducted safely and in accordance with approved procedures.
* Conducted research and managed communications with Cognizant Engineers performing inspections and repairs to U.S. Navy Nuclear submarines, ensuring item / system integrity relevant to any deviations. 
* Identified and made improvement recommendations for naval nuclear work or evolutions, potentially resulting in reducing costs or radiation exposure, or increasing efficiency.

Achievements:
* Completed a rigorous training program, encompassing all mechanical/electrical systems associated with nuclear plants in Navy submarines, as well as design, operation and maintenance requirements. In addition, received approximately 250 mandatory qualifying signatures during authorization process for final board as well as passed the training / oral board exam in 6 months – 3 months less than the average time required for training, saving 3 months of training costs and adding much needed manpower to the field expeditiously.
* Appointed to serve as Primary JTG after just 1 year as opposed to the typical 2-3 years required, serving on call 24/7 to observe / approve procedures on an as needed basis.

ENGINEER 9/2000-1/2003

* Provided technical support assistance to Navy nuclear submarines, and resolved field problems as needed.
* Interfaced on other projects, analysis groups, and Naval Reactor, ensuring proper operation of the system.
