Maintained satellite equipment, generators and aircraft test equipment. Arranged for communication and transfer of imagery by networking computer systems. Maintained HF, VHF, UHF, and microwave frequency receivers, processing multiplexers, demultiplexers, signal monitors, and direction finding associated with various (electronic warfare/intercept) systems. Prepared maintenance forms and records. Performed detailed testing on electrical and mechanical equipment using various testing apparatus; such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, wire diagrams, logic and signal flow charts, technical manuals, troubleshooting charts, performance aids, schematic logic diagrams, and other measurement and diagnostic equipment. Maintained radios (electronic warfare/intercept receivers), processing and storage equipment and computer peripherals. Diagnosed unusual and complex malfunctions in these systems and equipment located at fixed station, remote sites and Army depots. Operated automatic and special test equipment to perform Wow and Flutter Test, Harmonic Distortion Test, Wave Ratio Measurement, DC Resistant, Impedance Mismatches, Reflectometry Test and other distortion test to isolate faults and takes corrective action to insure equipment fidelity. Supervised lower grade personnel in the performance of their duties. Also utilized these skills periodically until Jan 2005 for refreshment of qualification.
