PeopleSoft EnterpriseOne [JD Edwards] is a complete suite of modular, pre-integrated industry-specific business applications designed for rapid deployment and ease of administration on pure internet architecture. Deployable in organizations that manufacture, construct, distribute, service, or manage products or physical assets, it provides an automated, highly flexible development environment; integration and business modelling tools; world-class usability; and predictive, customer system-specific diagnostic and support tools.

Life Cycle Management is aimed at managing an entire enterprise application lifecycle-implementation, operation, and maintenance. The central idea is to use technology to provide the industry's best Total Ownership Experience.

Role: Handled Life Cycle Management Quality Engineering team, for PeopleSoft EnterpriseOne Tools and technology. Had a key role in building the team. Handled complete QE testing life cycle. Main Functional role comprised of Test Architect and Review of Business Requirement Document.

2. TT-Maintenance Bundle Delivery
This project focuses on addressing the differences of timing, terminology, and quality testing. Enterprise fixes are released as Individual Fixes for escalated issues, Bundles are released every six weeks following regression testing, and Maintenance packs are released each quarter.
* Designed the Test Plan with high level test conditions.

3. TT-Performance Monitor
A performance monitoring tool for PeopleSoft EnterpriseOne to improve the Total Ownership Experience; support the mid-market; and improve operational excellence. The objective was to monitor configured aspects of the system and save the resultant data to a database. The data can then be viewed through a user interface

4. TT-E1 Web Services Gateway II
This was developed to provide EnterpriseOne Web Services Gateway, the necessary components of WebMethods and was re-branded as Web Services Gateway and delivered with the EnterpriseOne product. The business aim was to protect the existing investment in business integration logic.

5. TT-Installer for Intel Enterprise
This has been observed that the current installation of our Tools Release code for Intel(r) based Enterprise Servers is based on a drag and drop approach. This approach does not manage the laying down of Third Party DLLs very well. It lays down the Dlls without taking into account pre-existing DLLs that are newer than the DLLs we are delivering. The TT-Installer installs the Tools Release code and the set of third-party DLLs in appropriate directories and avoids duplicate and redundant versions of the DLLs. A severe issue of conflicting DLLs which hampered the functioning of the tools code was thus handled and managed.

6. TT-SPC Codes via website
This project addresses the business critical and production down time issue due to lack of a SPC to invoke the application at the customer environment. The software protection code thus generated through the web site would directly ensure faster customer service and would improve customer satisfaction.

7. TT-Rapid Start Version System Data Cleanup
This project helps customer retain only those versions which are relevant to their business/industry. By default all the versions are bundled in the package. In this project Rapid Start configurations involve identification of versions by region, industry and industry within a region. Additionally identifying the base version in case the version has been copied has to be maintained. This is done during the install and Upgrade process of EnterpriseOne product.

A WGE[Wireless Graphics Engine], C++ based game for mobile phones was developed by a team of 2, and was involved right from the stage of conception, through client interactions to completion and delivery.

Aztek, Krish Associates, Singapore
A MIDP based [Java] game to be used on Motorola T720 phones was developed. The game was designed to be a Single-Player game. Managed the project, and had extensive interactions with the client. The game was completed in 7 days.

E-Business Site, Hi Tech Carbon, Indian Rayon, India
Identified business processes to put in place a comprehensive e-business site that with all the stakeholders and worldwide clients. The site connects to the factory management system at the production locations, to provide a complete solution to the customers of the company. Was involved in System Study, Scope Definition, Project Management, Quality Assurance and Functionality and Integration Testing. JSP, Servlets, JavaBeans and MS SQL were the technologies used to develop the site.

Touch-Screen Info Kiosk, William Thompson Associates, France
Project developed using C, Visual Basic, Java and MS SQL. Project was completed in 5 months. Interacted with the client extensively. Managed a team 5 members, and was involved in the complete life cycle of the project from Requirement Analysis, to Scope Definition to Delivery.

E-Collaboration Site, Indian Rayon, India
The project addressed the need for a knowledge sharing and management effort of the client. The site was developed to share the production, shipment, problems and issues, key actions, key personnel, and statistics of sales among four different production units spread across three countries. Managed a team of four members. Carried out extensive system study, and conducted a one-to-one study among user groups to avoid end-user resistance. ASP, MS SQL was used on IIS server.

QA Compliance and Documentation, Citibank, India
The project was to document the QA test results obtained from Orbit system, through Megasoft Ltd. All test results were documented to the specifications provided and made available in HTML.

Part of the team that were involved in the migration and development, of a project from Paychex, USA. The client's business involved processing and management of pay checks from companies across several states in the USA.

* Handled a team of 15 members and managed two teams working on R&D, and module development.
* Project involved migrating about 2000 forms and libraries from Object Pascal to Delphi.
* Business logic had to be changed in about 30% of the forms.
* Back-end was migrated from BTree to Paradox
* Undertook the R&D of the BTree data structures and device drivers and process modifications necessary to print reports on specific printers.

Help Desk Management System, Compuserv N.V., Belgium
A typical help desk management system, to handle and support the company's products. Modules were designed to handle three levels of support, and complaint forwarding. Intensive MIS reports were designed to monitor and manage the performance of support staff. The product was developed using Delphi, with MIDAS components, and Paradox was the back-end system. QuickReports were used to generate the reports.

Advert-Pro, Compuserv N.V., Belgium
The aim was to develop a product that addressed the needs of newspaper and magazine publishers. The package was designed with modules like CRM, Advertisement booking, reservations, subscription management, circulation management, and was integrated with an accounts module. Multi Language Support at the form and back end level was designed for the user to change whenever possible. Database Security in terms of record level locking and table level locking was handled for detecting data collision. Product was developed in Delphi, QuickReports with Paradox as the native database, but could operate on any SQL compliant database.

Was instrumental in organising the ad hoc development process into an organised structure and optimal utilisation of resources. Introduced several industry standard practises in managing projects. Reduced development time and the costs by the improvements suggested. Handled about seven Delphi projects during this period, and managed a team of 9.

Quality Assurance and Certification System [Certi-5], was developed for a fasteners manufacturing company. Modules were used to use the testing data to verify and calibrate the products based on several physical and chemical properties. Delphi, MS Access was used in development. QuickReports was used to design the reports

Payroll Management System: A Delphi, MS-Access and QuickReports project developed to handle the payroll, HR functions of the client, who was in the business of manufacturing soft toys. The client had two manufacturing plants, one in India and one in South Korea. The project involved a complete study of the HR practises of both the plants, and device the system to handle both plants requirements. Modules included recruitments, manpower allocation based on production plan, leave records, increments, payroll processing and other requirements.

Production Planning System: Project was developed for a soft toy manufacturer in India. Undertook a complete study to understand the production process, vendor selection criteria, and manpower scheduling process of the client. The software took the marketing information based inputs as the production plan, and modules to calculate the inputs, raw material requirements, lead times, process scheduling, and manpower allocation and planning. The client reduced the costs and wastages by 15% after implementing the package. Was involved right from system study through development and implementation. Managed a team of 10, and the development was in Delphi, MS SQL.

RC-Design Suite: A design package for RC[Reinforced Concrete] usages with extensive modules for RC-Beam Designer, RC-Column Designer, RC-Slab Designer, RC-Footing Designer, RC-Tool Box.
