I was responsible for representing Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Mass in the most professional manner and deliver a high quality performance at all times. Responsible for communicating with the Media via Television, radio or Newspapers.
Clinics and Patient Education Training Programs was based on the type of Clinic the Companies specifically requested. Was responsible for planning and coordinating a full schedule of Health Education Programs, Wellness Programs and Emergency Training Programs. Provide instruction to staff and supervised the Clinics so they ran in a timely manner and effective delivery of services.
Worked intensely with Dr. Henry Heimlich through the media to have the Heimlich Maneuver (Abdominal Thrust) incorporated into the American Red Cross and American Heart Association CPR Courses. We were successful in this most important endeavor.
Duties included management of staff, administrative duties. Training, staff scheduling and program scheduling, employee evaluations. Was responsible for all activities undertaken by the Healthcare Providers. Responsible for overseeing all staff remaining current in their certifications.
Assisted in production, developing, implementing, disseminating educational video and written materials. Introduced new health wellness and emergency programs. Worked closely with Emergency Providers, Fitness and Nutritionist Specialists.
