C Auto Mechanics at East Aurora High School.

Learned how to use different types of hydraulic lifts and went over the lift points on different vehicles. Balanced tires on a tire balancer and learned to use the vertical and horizontal tire machines for removing tires from the rims. Learned how to diagnose problems on vehicles.

C Cabinet Making Class at East Aurora High School.

Learned all aspects on how to build cabinets and to stain, and finish them until you get the finished product. Learned how to make kitchen cabinets and bathroom cabinets. Built cabinets from scratch out of different types of wood that was precut for cabinets. Sand cabinets down to a smooth finish and stained and applied a coat of lacquer to finish them. Made base cabinets for a kitchen and for bathrooms varies in sizes due to different size rooms in houses. Built wall cabinets for the kitchen and special corner cabinets that also hang on the wall. We also learned how to construct an island cabinet for the middle of the floor in the kitchen with a couple of drawers for utensils, cabinet doors for pots and pans and the island cabinet also had its own power outlets on the cabinet for easy electrical connections.

C Vehicle repairs and modifications.

Know the basics of cars and how to repair them. Have done tune-ups on different vehicles. Oil changes, air filters, spark plugs and wires, also distributor caps. On the charging systems I have done different diagnostics to determine what is causing the charging failure. Have replaced alternators, batteries, and belts. On cooling/heating systems have replaced radiators and heater cores. On the drive-train I have replaced transmissions and half-shafts, also have done front and rear wheel bearings. Tie rods and tie rod ends. Removed and installed new door handles and locks in vehicles. Installed car stereos with or without a wiring a wiring harness. Installed amplifiers for speakers in different vehicles. Also have tinted windows before.

C Woodshop.

Used all different types of woodworking tools in woodshop for cutting, putting decorative edges on materials, and joining pieces of wood together through the gluing and clamping process. Know how to use all the different types power saws for cutting down materials.

C Welding.

Learned how to fusion weld different types of metals together using oxyacetylene torches, and to weld with a stick using the oxyacetylene torch. Had to learn to make different types of welds at different angles also.

C Drafting.

Learned to read blueprints and draw different types of drafts. Used different types of rulers, protractors, t-squares, and compasses for drawing a blueprint.

C Zero turn riding mowers.

Learned to operate the zero turn mower. Rode machine for over 1440 hours total.

Maintained the machines throughout the season.

C Backhoe.

Learned the basics of operating using the backhoe and bucket.
