calculating the property tax. After Proposition Thirteen,residential property taxes were based on the property\\\'s puchase price.] The tax burden on established homeowners was lifted.


[Monitored activity of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) that the Supreme Court had applied to cities. The court decision increased municipal spending for employee compensation since more employees were deemed non-exempt (subject to overtime pay after working a forty hour work period).

[Monitored municipal spending for compliance with Article XIV (Propositon Fourteen, The Gann Limit)of the California Constitution. The state and all cities were limited by this measure from spending more than was spent in the previous fiscal year plus a cost of living.

Although I researched and wrote the analyses, I typed them on a computer using Word Perfect.

Financial analysis consisted of preparing the budget for the marketing division of the company. The budget consisted of overhead expenses such as travel, advertising and commissions. The marketing division consisted of two departs; North American Sales and International Sales. The budget mainly consisted of travel and other expenses for the salesmen in these two departments.

Worked at headquarters of a conglomerate with 121 subsidiaries. As pension coordinator I was responsible for reconciling subsidiaries\\\' monthly deposits to the company\\\'s pension account. Conducted telephonic and written communications with branches to work out discrepancies between written records and those submitted to the head office and the bank.

[Changed the system the branches used to submit pension deposit data to the head office. More complete data was forwarded which gave the staff a more complete picture of the deposit process. Account numbers were applied to each contributor. The account numbers were applied to balances carried forward. This change eleminated time consuming error tracking.]

At year\\\'s end all subsidiary accounts were reconciled to the main statement and sent to the actuaries for valuation. After valuation the pension accounts were included in the company\\\'s financial statements.

Prepared spread sheets for foreign banks and companies which detailed
debt to equity ratios with supporting schedules for the loan officers to use in the loan process with the bank\\\'s customers.

[Translated bank statements and company financial documents for loan officers and upper management-Translations were from Spanish and French to English.]

[Translated bank charters, financial statements and bylaws for bank auditors to use in judging a prospective of three banks in Switzweland and Lebanon.]

Assisted foreign exchange trader in Spanish trades on the telephone.

Handled overseas telephone calls in Spanish. This assistance was needed throughout the bank in all departments.
