I am writing to introduce myself, and present my resume for your consideration.

I am a Mac based designer, and have over 10 years of graphic design and production experience. The entire graphics department at my current employer is being moved out of state, and I am interested in remaining in the Los Angeles area. I have extensive experience in InDesign, Photoshop, Quark, Freehand, lllustrator, Acrobat, and MS Office. I am also a skilled illustrator and fine artist. I am equally skilled in layout and design, and am particularly strong in illustration and drawing.

As indicated in my resume, I have been involved with all aspects of project development from design phase to production. In addition to brochures, booklets and forms, I have also developed book-jackets, tradeshow materials and point of sale displays and have been involved in developing merchandise packaging. I grew up and went to school in Mexico City, therefore I am bilingual in Spanish and have done some translation in the past.
