thy Milk Paint Wall Finish as laid out by the office personnel via batch tickets. Each batch required the proper measuring & adding of ingredients in precisely designated amounts at the indicated vital times as determined by the on-duty chemist. The heart of this task relied without exception on the daily consistency of ensuring all measuring vessels being immaculately clean, the proper measurements being weighed out down to the gram, both speed of mixing machine as well as the temperature of batch being monitored and maintained within predertermined levels, and finally the batch being pumped from mixing setup to drum before being sealed until ready to be filled into gallons, quarts & 1/2 pints. Managing the floor daily also meant staying as much overtime as needed to ensure all tasks, no matter the manpower for the day, were completed. The largest of responsibilities in the end being was proper clean up of all mixers and mixing tanks & drums, scales, measuring vessels, handheld utensils, pumping hoses & pump, as well as the floor itself. Additionally, weekly inventories of all pallets containing buckets & drums of ingredients, tints, chemicals, along with the finished paint in can or drum quantities were kept by myself. Customer Service Representative & Internet Accounts Manager - The Antique Drapery Rod Co. 2003-present Starting out, this job mostly consisted of call center work along with order entry and general customer service support. General support duties involved distributing faxes to all office, customer service & accounting personnel, ensuring the main phone line was off Do Not Disturb in the morning, and helping the team to maintain a clean office environment. My responsibilities as a customer service representative for The Antique Drapery Rod Company extended to, but were not limited to, returning voicemails, answering emails averaging twenty to fifty on any given day, each involving individual cases that needed to be researched prior to being resolved, order entry, various data entry, daily new account entry, and the filling out & filing of return paperwork for each customer merchandise return for the internet customer base, both designer and retail. Call Center Customer Service work consisted of speaking with customers over the phone for whatever amount of time it required to reach a resolution to their purpose in calling. As time progressed I was eventually given sole responsibility for internet department customer service, and this led to receiving the job title of Internet Accounts Manager along with all duties therein. Many phone calls & emails from the customer base would be regarding account information & details, how to both understand and utilize their account, filing business information such as resale documents and tax id certificates for company records, helping customers to understand the capability of products they were interested in, status of orders, assistance in details of said orders, at times tracking shipping progress of the orders for the customer, accomodating customers in instances where difficulties arose but enforcing company policies at the same time, as well as handling the orders themselves on both the company website & internal processing systems. I assisted the team in verifying the specs for existing product for catalog information and website content, as well as measuring to obtain specs for new product. Related to that, I assisted in the final proof-reading for each catalog print. The majority of FAQ items for The Antique Drapery Rod Company website were either modified in wording or written up entirely by myself during my service to the company. Amount of work sometimes called for no lunch breaks and longer hours, both of which were accepted to get the job done properly. This was especially true of holiday seasons. Additionally, I assisted the Vice President of Sales & Marketing during her tenure with problematic customers as well as the more unique cases of customer matters, special orders, and tracking order history for whatever special cases she required, locating data in multitudes of methods. I also assisted associate Don Storey, during his tenure, in store setup modifications at The Great Indoors for their Houston location, which required traveling. Lastly, during my service to The Antique Drapery Rod Company I gained experience in retail sales while assisting in our Showroom when needed, working the store especially during Saturdays. Customer Service Rep. & Internet Department Support - Anna Sova Luxury Organics 2005-present While working for The Antique Drapery Rod Company, I also assisted in many similar internet & showroom related duties for our sister company, Anna Sova Luxury Organics. These duties included answering emails averaging five to fifteen on any given day, returning voicemails, general customer service support, speaking with customers over the phone for whatever amount of time it required to reach a resolution to their purpose in calling be it regarding account information & details, helping customers with status of orders, assistance in details of said orders, at times tracking shipping progress of the orders for the customer, accomodating customers in instances where difficulties arose but enforcing company policies at the same time, as well as handling the orders themselves on both the company website & internal processing systems, order entry, daily new account entry, handling the return paperwork for each customer merchandise return for the internet customer base, both designer and retail, and gaining further experience in retail sales while assisting in their showroom when needed, working the showroom store during Saturdays.
