Hired for a four-month contract-to-hire, detailing hydraulic components using Catia v5, and working in SmarTeam. Drafting, and light design work. Contract ended June 6th and was not hired direct due to budget cuts. Rehired as contract for September through October.

Last worked as “Gatekeeper’ between JCI and DaimlerChrysler’s VPM system. Also responsible for setting and tracking dimensional control standards for Chrysler’s 2007 KA and 2008 KK programs. Lead Design Checker from 1995 to 2002. Duties included checking details and assemblies for fit, manufacturability, and conformance to JCI and DaimlerChrysler standards. Also advised designers and engineers of GD&T applications for details and assemblies. Participated in interviews with potential designers. Previous programs include 1996 JX front seat, 1993 LH rear seat and integrated child seat, 1991 P-Body foam development, 1990 P-Body pour-in-place headrest, and 1988 P-Body frame and adjustable lumbar design using Catia v4, Computervision Cadds 4X, and board drawings. Member of task force to establish TQC (Total Quality Control) standards for CADD system and Six Sigma team to establish drawing standards. Trained on Catia v5, but have never used it for production work. Caught in big layoff in Fall 2006.

Also worked as Senior Engineering Technician at Galion Dresser in Galion, Ohio using CV Cadds 3.
