Assistant Special Agent in Charge (Second Level Supervisor) 2004-Present
Appointed to oversee the Washington Field Division and sustain management support to the Special Agent in Charge while providing close supervision to several subordinate field offices. Solely responsible for the proficient oversight of
several corresponding offices located throughout the commonwealth of Virginia, the District of Columbia and West Virginia.
Ensure performance efficiency and work coordination of a large staff consisting of criminal investigators and clerical support through direct supervision of several Resident Agents in Charge and/or Group Supervisors. Spearhead the decision-making and resolution of problems on all issues and manage all aspects of the Division’s finances including the strategic administration of budget to accomplish goals.
Major Accomplishments:
- Identified causes of inefficiency and developed solutions for SAC and other Bureau management officials regarding problems impacting ATF's overall enforcement mission.
- Provide strategies and solutions as the key management official responsible in advising the Special Agent in ensuring efficiency and coordination of all enforcement programs and operations of the division.
Special Agent in Charge (Office of Inspection) 2003-2004
Strategically planned and directed the comprehensive inspection program to success. Facilitated a thorough independent review of the operations of all Bureau offices, function and its program. Monitored compliance with all regulations, policies and procedures and defined the factors affecting each Bureau’s integrity and developed solutions for improvement.
Major Accomplishments:
- Presented strategic plans for improved administrative and operating policies and procedures in order to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the Bureau's regulatory and criminal enforcement missions; regarded as subject matter expert in identifying ways to improve the overall management of the Bureau.
- Efficiently worked in conjunction with the Director, Deputy Director, and the Assistant and Deputy Assistant Director (Office of Inspection) in the development and implementation of new and revised policies regarding the integrity and conduct of ATF personnel and the evaluation of operational effectiveness of all ATF organizations and employees.
- Chosen to represent the Assistant and Deputy Assistant Director at meetings and briefings within the Bureau, the Department of the Justice and with other federal agencies—ensuring that the interests of the Bureau were represented and understood.
National Defense University
Assistant Special Agent in Charge 2002-2003
Co-managed and streamlined law enforcement initiatives in the Baltimore Field Division. Effectively carried out duties as the second level supervisor over several subordinate field offices.

- Chosen and mentored as a future leader and to be among the members of the Armed Forces, State Department and other civilian agencies for high-level policy, command and staff responsibilities while attending college.
- Honored to be one of U.S., foreign, military and civilian personnel to attend several senior-level courses of study in National Security Policy and Strategy --a graduate level curriculum emphasizing the joint and interagency perspective with a strong emphasis on strategic and analytical analyses.
Chief (Special Operations Division) 2000-2002
Spearheaded approximately 50 professionals, technical and clerical employees assigned within the division including more than 30 positions at the GS-14 and GS-13 grade levels. Tracked and supported field operation orders and tactical procedures for major cases and special operations; coordinated and approved investigations conducted outside ATF's jurisdiction.
Major Accomplishments:
- Ensured seamless prioritization of workloads while establishing standards and developing criteria for evaluation.
- Established compliance measures for the bureau’s Polygraph procedures.
- Examined all completed work and evaluated performance.
- Realigned all efforts in managing crime and witness protection programs.
- Orchestrated maintenance of investigative equipment, supply planning and procurement.
- Provided strategic direction to special operations such as the Special Response Team Program (SRT), task forces, and ATF's participation in the Olympics.
- Served as liaison between the Bureau, U.S. Secret Service and the State Department.
- Represented the programs of the division on National Policy Planning Committees.
