Responsible for directing and leading a multi-year school & community-based prevention project that enhances the behavioral and cognitive competencies in 11-14 year olds to reduce and prevent a variety of health-risk behaviors.

• Successfully developed key collaborations within school districts in Pima and Maricopa Counties to implement Life Skills curriculum in their middle schools.

• Supervise training team to conduct year-round Life Skills trainings for teachers, counselors, prevention specialists and community-based organization program staff.

• Provide direct support and project oversight to school staff implementing Life Skills curriculum.

• Created youth small grant program to disburse funds to schools for youth led and planned prevention projects.

• Developed youth engagement component of Life Skills Project
