She is a member of the process team collaborating on the implementation of a Learning Management System (LMS) for the Ballistic Missile Defense Corporate University. Ms. Tate works with MDA-DOH personnel on Sharable Content Object Reference Model (SCORM) design and integration and provides guidance on the development of SCORM conformant content.

Ms. Tate was responsible for the design and development of all training materials for the Missile Defense Agency - Defense Travel System (DTS) instructor-led course. These materials include: instructor and student manuals for the Traveler and Authorizing Officials courses, DTS Quick Reference Guide, scenario travel and authorization exercises. Ms. Tate conducted instructor-led classes for all National Capital Region (NCR) MDA personnel, as well as the classes scheduled at non-NCR sites. She works closely with systems personnel to ensure that the DTS processes and version changes are accurately reflected in the training materials.

Ms. Tate’s responsibility was to assess, design, and conceptualize training scenarios, approaches, objectives, plans, tools, aids, curriculums, and other state of the art technologies related to training and behavioral studies for the Joint Knowledge Development and Distribution Capability (JKDDC) project. She designed and developed various interactive multimedia courseware materials for other e-learning projects and worked directly with customers to determine training requirements.

Additionally, Ms. Tate coordinated an Internship Program with the Graduate School of Education at George Mason University. Through this program, graduate students in the Instructional Design and Graphic Art were integrated directly into the company’s ICW development process, and taught techniques and practices to merge classroom theory and academic training into real-world solutions.
