· Structure Mechanic A, Delegated Inspector, Structure Repair, Honeycomb repair ( hot and cold bonding), order aircraft part, installed various airframe parts, research for specific repair and performed necessary repair on commercial aircraft including DC-9’s, 727’s, 737’s, 747’s,

· Aircraft Mechanic Lead man that oversaw and performed major aircraft structure modification of airframe and various systems using my knowledge and experience of airframe and powerplant for facilitate conversion for passenger to cargo aircraft.

· Aircraft airframe structure repair and fabrication of aircraft parts and honeycomb repair on Huey, Huey Cobra Helicopters and S3, E2C2 aircraft.

· Aircraft Mechanic: Performed maintenance procedures, Inspected, repair and replaced faulty, components on airframe and powerplants of F-4’s, T-33’s, DC-10’s, DC-4’s, and Caribou”s, Installed hydraulic and fuel lines on DC-10’s.

· Jet Engine Manufacture Assembler: Assembled large jet engine cases, fan stator, and smaller parts for military and commercial aircraft.

· Removed and reinstalled flight controls, air condition ducts, corrosion control, replaced damage parts on 747”s.

· Repair flawed/imperfect) substandard parts, which could be upgraded in compliance with specification. Removing the damage section on engine tubing and replacing if with new section to close tolerance to be welded in position.

Composite Resume

· Honeycomb and sheet metal parts and performed the necessary repair on commercial and military aircraft including DC-9, 727’s, 737’s, and 747’s, Cobra Huey, Huey Helicopter S3, and E2C2.

· Removed damage area and replaced with new fiberglass and / or honeycomb parts by wet lay-up and either clamping or vacuum bagging parts together and Structure Mechanic A, Delegated Inspector. Researched for specific repair on trimming to original size.

· Used fixture and cauls plates to form fiberglass parts to the correct contour of the original part.

· Used repair manual and blueprints for material preparation and procedures for the repairs.

· Used weight balances and scales for measuring the resins and epoxy used in the repairs.

· Used prepreg material in metal-to-metal repair and hot bond machine and vacuum bagged parts together.

· Used overhead crane to move or turn over large parts by using stripers and different fixtures.

· Used forklift to move parts.

· Used F.A.A standard paper work in the repair of composite and sheet metal.

· I have a F.A.A Airframe and Powerplant license.
