LITIGATION OPERATIONS AND PROCEDURES
- Input of case information to computer Case Management Program.
- Tracking of statute of limitations on all cases.
- Independent preparation and filing of lawsuits, including investigation, determination of defendants, causes of action and court venue.
- Consistent, forward movement of files from inception of lawsuit to Trial, including Service of Process, Discovery, Depositions, Motions, Stipulations, Status Conferences, Mediation, Arbitration, Pre-Trial Hearings and Trial.
- Maintain calendar of hearings, continuances and appointments in and out of the office.
- Maintain weekly to do list to facilitate follow up of previous work performed.
- Contact and correspondence with, among others, clients, attorneys, experts, mediators, arbitrators, and department clerks. Follow up and interaction with all persons involved to insure receipt of notifications and confirmation of attendance at hearings and depositions.
- Meet with clients to obtain information and documentation, chiefly with regard to discovery responses.
- Monthly file and statute review.

- Work collaboratively with vendors, attorney service, messenger service, and other outside services relative to office management and administration.
- Conceptualize, design and implement increasingly effective office policies and procedures.
- Management of building security requirements as it pertains to all members of executive suite.
- Distribution of information received from the Office of the Building regarding fire drills, building closure, inspections, maintenance and repairs.
- Maintenance of DMV Account, including yearly account renewal and compliance with DMV rules and regulations.
- Determination of staffing requirements. Placing of ads for employment. Interviewing of applicants. Provide assistance to employer in the hiring decision.
- Research and purchase of office printers, faxes, scanners and computers, with approval of employer.
- Ordering of all office supplies.
- Writing of Office Manuals regarding Policies and Procedures for Reception, Litigation, and Office Management/Administration.
TECHNICAL SUPPORT AND TROUBLESHOOTING
