Make revisions with engineers and architects as necessary. Take care of any problems regarding installation and any discrepancies that involve National Air Systems or our Sub Contractors. Projects include malls, restaurants, strip centers, high rises, casinos and tenant finish buildings, all over the U.S. and overseas.
· Perform all pre-engineering inspections for remodels and new stores (HVAC equipment, exhaust fans, building measurements, control systems, and ductwork with all measurements). I perform MEPR building evaluation scopes (mechanical, plumbing, fire, life safety, and electrical).
· Deal with Corporate Personnel and Owners Representative. Handle all public relation problems with all major accounts. I’m also the person sent to new accounts and stores in severe balance and/or control system problems. I’m required to evaluate the problems and make recommendations to fix on site if possible.
· Wire up and check out all controls, ANSUL interlocks, fire detection systems, life safety devices, DDC controls, Lennox NCP system, mag starters and 24-volt AC/DC systems. Perform all necessary troubleshooting and repair of these items. All installation and programming as well.
· Perform final tests for Health Department, Mechanical Department, and Fire Department so certificate of occupancy will be issued. These tests have included Static Pressure Tests, Mcthychlorine (Gas) Tests, and Smoke Bomb Capture Tests. Do all calculations and complete Air Balance Reports. Performed Air Balance Tests with Digital Anemometer (Davis), Digital Barometer (Shortridge), Magnetic and Incline Manometer. Performed minimal water system balancing for Hydronic systems.
